Dr. Mark Brusseau is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Science with a joint appointment in the Department of Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences.
He is a fellow of the American Geophysical Union, the Geological Society of America, and the Soil Science Society of America, with research interests in contaminant transport and fate, mass-transfer processes, modeling, and soil/groundwater contamination and remediation. His lab research program has been developed to improve our understanding of processes that impact transport and limit remediation of contaminants in order to improve environmental quality and restore contaminated systems.
