Outreach with local communties

Connecting with communities through outreach and extension

Many of our faculty, staff and students work in outreach, with faculty holding joint appointments in The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension. These faculty follow the of Cooperative Extension, engaging with people through applied research and education to improve lives, families, communities, the environment and economies in Arizona and beyond.

We do applied research to understand the connections between weather and climate on agriculture and resource management to create relevant information products.
