If you are a graduate, you are eligible for a Graduate Teaching Assistantship or Associateship, or GTA.
- You are still required to pay mandatory fees, but will receive:
- Full or partial tuition remission
- Stipend
- Student health insurance
- The GTA is offered 10 or 20 hours per week (0.25 FTE or 0.50 FTE)
- The assistantship or associateship begins week before regular semester classes

- Assigned faculty mentors who help provide hands-on training and other resources to develop science communication skills

- Who: University of Arizona graduate students focusing on the nexus of environmental research and decision-making (visit website for full eligibility criteria)
- What: Up to four fellowships ($4,750 each) awarded annually
- How: Apply at the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS) website
