A six-part video series in fall 2019 will show the people behind the science tackling today's big environmental challenges

The Department of Environmental Science partnered with Landmark Stories, a small documentary team powered by the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences, to explore the people behind the science at the University of Arizona as you’ve never seen before.

You hear about environmental issues on the news, but often not about the people working tirelessly to solve them.

Each character-driven and cinematic short video will dive deeper into the motivation of scientists while highlighting a different environmental challenge. From uranium mining and algae blooms to environmental justice and climate policy, the science in the Department of Environmental Science is just as diverse as the people behind it.
