Videos Featuring ENVS Faculty and Students Win National Awards

Three stories created by Landmark Stories in partnership with the Department of Environmental Science are recognized with national Telly Awards.

For over 40 years, the Telly Awards showcase the best work of video and television across all screens and mediums.

These stories are part of a series showing the people behind the science tackling today’s biggest environmental challenges. Since Fall 2019, four stories have premiered and three will be released in 2020/2021 (including the full-length Next Hopi Scientist).

We partnered with Landmark Stories, an award-winning documentary team founded in 2019 supported by the CALES Communications & Cyber Technologies department.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards highlight winners from over 12,000 entrants in all 50 states and from five continents. Entries are judged by the Telly Award Judging Council, a group of leading experts from some of the most prestigious companies in entertainment, publishing, advertising, and emerging technology.
