My research focuses on evaluating the removal of viruses common to wastewater during advanced wastewater treatment intended for potable and non-potable reuse (soil aquifer treatment, reverse osmosis), viromic analysis of reverse osmosis concentrates treated through ozone-biofiltration for safe reuse in irrigation and use of microbial source tracking markers to assess fecal contamination in water intended for irrigation of produce.
